Turkey 2 Miler - Axton
The event takes place at the Smith River Sports Complex, 1000 Irisburg Rd, Axton, VA 24054. The course circles the Monogram Foods Smith River sports complex and follows the Dick & Willie Trail along the Smith River. Packet pick up is scheduled for Wednesday, November 25 from Noon to 6:00 p.m. at the YMCA.
There are separate options for participants: a competitive two mile run with a ruck option, a non competitive two mile walk, and an All Vets ruck two mile event. Run and ruck registrants receive an official race shirt and are eligible for awards. Walk registrants do not receive a shirt and are not eligible for awards. Registration fees listed for the listed events are $20 for the competitive run, $7 for the non competitive walk, and $20 for the All Vets ruck. The organizer provides awards for top overall finishers and age group certificates for runners; ruck awards are provided by All Vets.
