Tupelo Trail Shuffle
The Tupelo Trail Shuffle is a trail running event in Trace State Park at 2139 Faulkner Road, Belden, MS on November 21, 2026. The event offers two race distances on mostly single-track trails that run through hardwood timber and old growth pines and partially alongside Trace State Lake.
The course contains a few rolling hills but no large climbs or highly technical sections. Trails are described as flowy and suitable for faster running in places. Elevation gain is roughly 400 ft for the 10K and 900 ft for the 20K. Aid stations are provided along the course, including a station around mile 4. In an effort to reduce waste, participants are encouraged to use reusable cups or bottles.
Packet pick-up is available the day before at a local outdoor store and on race day at Trace State Park; packets not collected on race day are forfeited. Race shirts or hoodies are planned for participants, and a special acknowledgment is kept for five-year finishers. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers in each distance, and all finishers receive a medal. A portion of event proceeds supports the Mississippi State Parks Fund.
