Tupelo Trail Shuffle
The Tupelo Trail Shuffle is a trail running event at Trace State Park in Belden, MS on November 21, 2026. The event offers two distance options and uses mostly single-track trails that run through hardwood timber and old growth pines and partially along Trace State Lake. Early November often provides peak fall foliage in this area.
The course includes a few rolling hills without major climbs or highly technical sections. Approximate elevation gain is 400 ft for the 10K and 900 ft for the 20K. Aid stations are provided at several locations, approximately miles 4, 8, and 10, offering food, water, and electrolytes. Participants are encouraged to bring a reusable cup or bottle to reduce waste.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Core Cycle & Outdoor in Tupelo and on race day at Trace State Park. Race day registration and race day packet pickup are available during the posted morning window. Race shirts or hoodies are planned for participants, and a special item is planned for finishers who complete five years. Race hoodies or medals are not guaranteed for entries after November 8, 2026.
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers in each distance and all finishers receive a medal. Pricing is $55 for the 10K and $65 for the 20K. There are no refunds. A portion of proceeds will support the Mississippi State Parks Fund. Camping, RV sites, cabins, hotels, and short term rentals are available in the area.
