Tupelo Trail Shuffle
The Tupelo Trail Shuffle is scheduled for November 21, 2026, at Trace State Park, 2139 Faulkner Road, Belden, MS. The event offers trail race distances on mostly single-track trails that run through hardwood timber and old growth pines and partially along Trace State Lake.

The course is routed on trails that the organizers describe as fast and flowy, with a few rolling hills and no major climbs or technical sections. Estimated elevation gain is about 400 ft for the 10K and about 900 ft for the 20K. Peak fall foliage commonly occurs in early November in this area.
Aid stations are placed at several points on the course, roughly around miles 4, 8, and 10, and will offer chips, cookies, fruit, water, and electrolyte drinks. Participants are encouraged to bring a reusable cup or bottle to reduce waste.
Packet pick-up is available the day before at Core Cycle & Outdoor in Tupelo and on race day at Trace State Park; packets not picked up on race day will be forfeited and will not be mailed. There is a four hour cutoff for both distances. Entry fees are listed as $55 for the 10K and $65 for the 20K and the event has a no refund policy.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers in each distance and all finishers receive a medal. Organizers plan hoodies for participants, but hoodie or medal is not guaranteed for entries completed after November 8, 2026. A portion of proceeds will support the Mississippi State Parks Fund.
Post-race refreshments will include drinks and light food and a vendor will provide adult beverages. Camping, RV sites, and cabins are available at the park and lodging options exist in the Tupelo area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
