The Get Your Heart Started 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run takes place at Fairpark in Tupelo, Mississippi. It is organized by Cardiology Associates of North Mississippi to encourage active lifestyles and raise awareness about heart health.

- 5K (3.1 miles) - Offered in both chip-timed and non-timed options.
- 1 Mile - A non-timed fun run.
Event Information
The start and finish is at Fairpark, in front of City Hall. The route goes out to the Elvis Presley Birthplace and returns to Fairpark.
Chip timing for the 5K is provided by Time2Run Race Timing. Awards are given for the chip-timed 5K only. Categories include overall, masters, grandmasters, and multiple age divisions.
All participants registered by February 5, 2026, receive a guaranteed short-sleeved T-shirt. Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the race at Gloster Creek Village Food Court and on race morning at Fairpark.
Proceeds from the event provide help and support to patients on their heart health journey in the region. Event amenities include a DJ, a special guest, vendors, and prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
