Tupelo Marathon and 14er
The event takes place on September 6, 2026 in Tupelo, Mississippi at 549 Coley Road. It offers two road race distances on an out and back course that follows rolling country roads.
Distances:
- 26.2 Miles Marathon
- 14.2 Miles 14er, splits from the marathon course at mile 13
The field is limited: Marathon entries capped at 150 and the 14er at 300. Registered participants receive a long sleeve race shirt and finishers receive a medallion; awards, shirts, and medals will not be mailed. Prizes are given for overall, Masters, Grandmasters, and age group winners. The course is a Boston qualifier.
Aid is provided with water stops along the route and there will be a few cheering spectators. A six hour time limit is enforced; clocks will stop timing at six hours. Showers are not available.
Registration opens April 1, 2026 and closes May 18, 2026. Registration fees listed are $70 for the Marathon and $50 for the 14er. Refunds are considered only if the race is cancelled. Age minimums apply: 18 years for the Marathon and 16 years for the 14er with parental consent for anyone under 18. Race swaps are discouraged but may be considered early; entries cannot be carried over and transfers to another person are not allowed.
