Tunnel Vision - Market Harborough
Tunnel Vision is a set of night and dawn running events held on 5 and 6 November 2026 along the Brampton Valley Way. Each event is an out and back run covering 5 miles, with both events using the same route that passes through Oxendon Tunnel, which is approximately 422 m long and will have mood lighting. A headtorch or handheld torch is required for the tunnel where footing can be uneven and there may be ruts and puddles.
The course runs on a compacted, fairly level former railway track suitable for road or trail shoes. There is a small ford on the route; an adjacent footbridge is available as an alternative and a wooden platform may be slippery in wet conditions. Runners keep left on the out and back sections and a turnaround point is provided at 2.5 miles.
Entries are priced at £23 for a single event and £40 for both. The minimum age for competitors is 14 years. Race numbers, timing chips, and pre-ordered event clothing can be collected at specified registration opportunities before and on event days. Pre-ordered t-shirts and hoodies are not available to buy on race day.
Safety and support include professional first aid at the start and finish with access to the course, marshals at key points, chip timing, and a course photographer. All finishers receive a bespoke medal; medals for both events interlink. Event sponsors include Petzl and Everyone Active and charity donations will be split between two local foodbanks.
