Tunnel Vision night run Market Harborough
The Petzl Tunnel Vision event in Market Harborough takes place on 5 and 6 November 2026 and comprises two out-and-back runs over a 5 mile route: a Night Run and a Dawn Run. Entrants may enter one or both races. Both routes pass through the Oxendon Tunnel, which is 422 m long; the tunnel will have mood lighting but runners require a headtorch or small handheld torch for safety.
The course is a hard packed track suitable for road or trail shoes. The tunnel surface has ruts and puddles. Professional first aid will be available at the start and finish with access to the course, and Race Harborough volunteers will be positioned on the route, at the tunnel entrance, and at the turn-around point.
Entry fees are £23 for a single race and £40 for both; the minimum age is 14. Entries and transfers close seven days before the event. Pre-event registration is available on Wednesday 4 November at Harborough Leisure Centre (LE16 9HF) between 6 and 8pm; race day allocation of numbers, timing chips, and pre-ordered t-shirts will follow instructions in the race pack.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers. All finishers receive a commissioned event medal; medals interlink for participants who complete both runs. The Night Run finish includes a hot drink and biscuits; the Dawn Run finish includes orange juice and a croissant.
