The Tunnel Vision Marathon & Half Marathon takes place on August 9, 2026, between Snoqualmie Pass (Hyak) and North Bend, Washington. Distances offered:

Registration opens January 1, 2026. The marathon course is USATF certified (WA21010RMB). Reported course records are 2:25:01 (male, 2024) and 2:42:46 (female, 2022). The event has a high rate of Boston Marathon qualifiers, with reports of around 40% qualifying in 2019 and over 42% on the original Tunnel course.
Course details
The course is point-to-point and net downhill. The marathon loses just over 2,000 ft of elevation at an approximate average grade of 2.2%. The marathon route passes through the Snoqualmie Tunnel; the half marathon begins at the halfway point of the full course and does not pass through the tunnel. The half marathon has an 1100 ft net drop from start to finish.
Both courses use former railroad trails - the Palouse to Cascade Trail and the Snoqualmie Valley Trail - with packed gravel surfaces. Both trail and road running shoes are suitable for the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
