Tunnel Vision Marathon & Half Marathon - August 9, 2026
Tunnel Marathons organizes the Tunnel Vision Marathon & Half Marathon near North Bend, WA at Hyak / Snoqualmie Pass. The event offers two race distances:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
The 2026 route follows an alternate, fully permitted course due to storm damage. The course retains a steady downhill grade and a low starting elevation, with approximately 1,000 feet of net elevation drop for both distances. The surface is smooth, packed gravel and the course is USATF certified; the marathon is a Boston qualifier. The route includes passage through the historic Snoqualmie Tunnel and finishes near Garcia Trailhead, with mountain views and waterfalls along sections of the course.
Aid stations are placed approximately every 2–3 miles and provide water, electrolytes, first aid, and Honey Stinger gels at select locations. Headlamps are required for passage through the Snoqualmie Tunnel. After the finish, runners walk about one mile down Forest Service Road 9020 to shuttle buses that return participants to Hyak Sno-Park.
Registration opens February 13, 2026 and closes August 2, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT. Published entry fees range from USD 130.23 to USD 172.83. Registration includes professional chip timing, a custom race bib, a finisher shirt and medal, post-race food and shuttle transportation back to Hyak Sno-Park.
