Tunnel Vision Marathon & Half Marathon - August 9, 2026
The Tunnel Vision event offers a marathon and a half marathon near Hyak at Snoqualmie Pass, North Bend, Washington. For 2026 the organizer will follow an alternate, fully permitted route because of severe storm damage. The revised route is described as remaining fast and scenic and retains a steady downhill rail-trail profile.
Both races are planned to be USATF certified, and the marathon is listed as a Boston qualifier with final certification to be confirmed after snowmelt in May. Each course features approximately 1,000 feet of net elevation drop and a smooth packed gravel surface suitable for road or light trail shoes.
Race services include professional chip timing, a custom race bib, a finisher’s shirt and medal, post-race food, and shuttle transportation back to Hyak Sno-Park. The finish for the 2026 event is at Garcia Trailhead; finish-line logistics include an approximately one-mile walk down Forest Service Road 9020 to shuttle buses that return participants to Hyak.
Aid stations are provided every 2 to 3 miles and supply water, electrolytes, basic first aid, and Honey Stinger gels at select locations. Registration opens February 13, 2026 and closes August 2, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
