Event overview
The Super HYAK Marathon & Half Marathon takes place on June 13, 2026 in the Snoqualmie Pass / North Bend area of Washington. Events:
- 26.2 miles - point-to-point marathon with just under 1500 feet of net downhill.
- 13.1 miles - point-to-point half marathon with about 800' of net downhill and a 2.4-mile tunnel section.
Course and logistics
Both courses run on a gravel, point-to-point trail with views of the Cascade Mountains and sections along Keechelus Lake. The marathon is USATF certified and listed as a Boston-qualifying course; the half marathon is USATF certified. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Snoqualmie Running (38843 SE Newton St, Snoqualmie, WA). Finish location is Homestead Valley Trailhead in North Bend. Free parking is available near the start at the Summit I-90 Ski Area (about a 10-minute walk); Hyak Trailhead parking carries a $10 day-use fee or is free for Washington Discover Pass holders. Shuttle buses transport runners from the finish back to start-area parking; buses operate on a regular schedule. Pacers will be provided. Runners are advised to bring a headlamp for the tunnel.
