Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Texarkana, TX
The event in Texarkana on September 11, 2026 is a 5K run and walk held to honor the life and actions of Stephen Siller and to remember those who died on September 11, 2001. The event supports first responders and military through the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and is presented in Texarkana for the first time.
The course distance is 5K (3.1 miles). Multiple registration categories are offered, including youth and child rates and discounts for first responders and military; registration fees range from free for some virtual categories up to $30 for an adult run and climb entry. Online registration opens on June 24, 2026 and is available until race day; day of registration is also permitted, though event shirts and sizes are not guaranteed for late registrants.
Packet pickup is available at Racquet & Jog, 3435 Richmond Rd, Texarkana, TX 75503. Participants must display their bib on the front of their outermost garment; runners without a bib will be asked to leave the course. Fast runners predicting a pace under 6 minutes per mile may be seeded in the front corral.
On-course support includes a water station and on-site emergency medical services with radio communication. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted; firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are also allowed. Registration fees do not count toward fundraising totals.
