Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Texarkana, TX
The event is a community 5K run and walk held on September 11, 2026 in Texarkana, Texas to honor first responders and remember the events of September 11, 2001 while supporting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Participants must display their bib on the front of their outermost garment; those without a bib will not be allowed to finish. Fast runners predicting paces under six minutes per mile will be seeded in the front corral. A water station will be available along the route. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted, and firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are also allowed. Personal items should be stored securely in vehicles; the foundation will not be responsible for lost items.
Donations and fundraising are part of the event: registrants can create fundraising pages and donations will be accepted for six weeks after the event. Emergency medical services and radio communication will be available on site. The event does not provide refunds, though registrations may be transferred to another person.
