Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Westerville, OH
The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk takes place in Westerville, Ohio, on May 17, 2026. The event is based at 325 N. Cleveland Ave. and is organized to honor first responders, remember those lost on September 11, 2001, and raise funds for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
The course is a 5K (3.1 miles) for running or walking. Registration categories and fees listed for the event include adult registration at $25, first responders and military registration at $20, youth registration for ages 13 to 17 at $10, and child registration 12 and under at $5. Online registration remains open until the start of the run, and day of registration is available for an additional $10; late registrants may not receive a t shirt or their preferred size.
Packet pickup is available Saturday, May 16, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Fleet Feet Columbus, 1270 E Powell Rd, Lewis Center, and Sunday, May 17 beginning at 7:00 AM at the Westerville Sports Complex. Participants must display their bib on the front of their outermost garment. A water station will be on the route and water will be available at the square. An Emergency Medical Service team and radio communication will be onsite.
Firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are permitted. Strollers and wheelchairs will start at the back of the field. Registrations may be transferred to another participant but refunds are not provided. The event offers fundraising incentives with a completion deadline of June 30, 2026.
