Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Boyertown, PA
This event is a 5K run and walk in Boyertown that honors first responders and remembers the lives lost on September 11, 2001 while raising funds for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. The course includes at least one water station on route and water at the start and finish area. An Emergency Medical Service team will be on site and radio communication will be available on the course.
Packet pick-up is available at Boyertown Park on Friday, May 15 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and the morning of the event from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Same day registration opens at 7:00 AM on race day; same day registrants may not receive a t-shirt because quantities are limited. Online registration dates and category fees listed by the organizer include adult, first responder and military, teen, and child pricing.
Participants must display their bib on the front of their outermost garment; runners without a bib will be asked to leave the course and will not be allowed to finish. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted. Firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are also permitted. Personal items should be left in vehicles and are stored at the owner’s risk; the foundation is not responsible for lost items.
This event is presented as an experience rather than a competitive race. No awards are given. Registration fees do not count toward fundraising totals.
