Tugaloo Olympic, Sprint and Aquabike - Lavonia, GA
This event takes place at Tugaloo State Park in Lavonia, Georgia. Multiple race formats are offered on the same day, including Olympic triathlon, Olympic aquabike, sprint triathlon, and relay options.
Distances:
- Olympic - 1.5 km swim, 42 km bike, 10 km run
- Olympic Aquabike - 1.5 km swim, 42 km bike
- Sprint - 500 yard swim, 14 mile bike, 5 km run
The 1.5 km swim uses a time trial start with swim waves based on estimated swim time. The 42 km bike course is a hilly out and back route. The Olympic run is a 10 km out and back course inside the park. Relay teams for the Olympic relay may have two to three members.
Registration opens on 2025-10-14 and closes on 2026-08-24. Published registration fees vary by event. Club teams must consist of three or more participants, all registered for the same distance. Clubs may enter multiple teams. Individual participants are scored both in the club team category and in their age group. Team winners are determined by points earned from age group finish positions.
