The Royston Coats and Cocoa 10K takes place on January 17, 2026 in Royston, GA. The event center is Royston Wellness and Community Park, 179 Skelton St, Royston, GA 30662. Entry fee for both in-person and virtual options is $15. The race is part of the Black Bag Race Series.

Participation and awards
Participants are asked to bring a new or gently used coat for donation. The city of Royston will work with local organizations to distribute collected coats. Strollers are welcome. In-person finishers receive a cup of hot cocoa, a t-shirt, and a finisher's medal. To be guaranteed a t-shirt and medal, registration must be received by December 31, 2025. Virtual runners are not eligible for t-shirts or race day awards. Virtual finish times must be submitted by January 17, 2026.
Awards are given to Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female, and to male and female athletes placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in age groups from "10 and Under" through "80 and Over."
Course and management
The 10K course starts and finishes at Royston Wellness and Community Park and follows one large loop around the Royston area. Finish line management and timing are provided by Classic Race Services. The event may be delayed in short increments for stormy weather; there are no refunds for inclement weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
