Tuff Pumpkin Edmonton
Tuff Pumpkin Edmonton is an autumn-themed run and festival held at Northeast River Valley Park in Edmonton, Alberta on October 3, 2026. The event offers multiple participation formats that combine a short road or trail course with pumpkin-related activities.
Available distances and formats:
- 5 km Pumpkin Run - run or walk, optional race timing.
- 5 km Pumpkin Haul - carry a pumpkin for the 5 km course.
- 5 km Team Haul - teams pick one pumpkin and carry it, taking turns.
- 2 km Sugar Pumpkin - 2 km walk or run with a small pumpkin option.
On event day there are warm-up activities led by an MC, games, photo opportunities, and festive elements along the course. Race timing is available as an option for participants who wish to be timed. Children aged five and under do not need to register and are admitted free.
