Tuff Pumpkin Edmonton
Tuff Pumpkin Edmonton takes place at Northeast River Valley Park in Edmonton, Alberta. The event combines running and walking options with a pumpkin patch where participants can pick a pumpkin to carry or keep.
Distances offered
- 5 km (run, haul, and team haul options)
- 2 km (2k Sugar Pumpkin family option)
Available formats include the Pumpkin Run (a 5 km run/walk with an optional timed entry), the Pumpkin Haul (carry a pumpkin for 5 km), and the Team Haul (a team selects one pumpkin and carries it over 5 km, switching as needed). The 2k Sugar Pumpkin is a 2 km walk or run with or without a small pumpkin. Children aged 5 and under are free, must be accompanied by a paid adult, and receive a free medal.
On event day an MC leads a warm up and the site features games, photo opportunities, pumpkin carving, and axe throwing among the festival activities.
