About the race
Tuff Pumpkin Edmonton is a seasonal community running and pumpkin event held at Northeast River Valley Park in Edmonton, Alberta. The program offers a mix of running, walking, and pumpkin-carry challenges with options for individuals and teams.
Participants can choose from these course options:
- 5 km run/walk with an optional timed entry
- 5 km pumpkin haul for individuals
- 5 km team haul carrying one pumpkin between team members
- 2 km Sugar Pumpkin walk/run
The event includes a pumpkin patch where participants pick pumpkins, on-course activity, and a festival area with games, photo opportunities, a warm-up led by an MC, pumpkin carving, and axe throwing. Children aged five and under are listed as free and do not need to register. A charity partner, Shea-Lynn’s Butterfly Effect, is associated with the event.
Registration is shown with tiered fees during different registration periods; listed fees in the event information range from CA$37 to CA$55 depending on the option and date.
