On the Trails - Mount Bold
Mount Bold is the fifth race in the On the Trails series and incorporates the 2026 SA Trail Championships. It is staged as part of the series of trail events held around outer-metro Adelaide and is one of the longer distance events in the series.
The event on Sunday 11 October 2026 offers multiple course options to suit a range of participants, including a designated extra long course unique to Mount Bold. All On the Trails events are registered as ITRA National League events and longer distances attract UTMB points. Series competitors are ranked using their best four results across events and points are awarded by finishing position.
Registration for Mount Bold opens 6 September 2026. Entry policies note that competitors must carry their own drinking vessel, carry a mobile phone, and download the Emergency Plus app. Organisers strongly recommend basic first aid supplies and appropriate clothing for changing weather. Walkers may take part only in short courses to ensure return before course closure.
Bibs must be picked up on the morning of the event and name-on-bib requests are subject to a bib cut-off. Competitors who finish all five On the Trails events receive a series finisher prize. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
