Troy Kids Triathlon : Troy, Ohio (July 19, 2026)
The Troy Kids Triathlon is a multi-discipline youth event with swim, bike, run and transition segments held in Troy, Ohio. The swim takes place at Troy Aquatic Park, the bike courses use the Hobart Arena parking lot and local bike path, and the run is at Troy Memorial Stadium. The event is organized by age groups so children race with peers in the same group. Proceeds benefit The Rec youth programs, which support educational, recreational, and social activities for local youth.
Distances by age group:
- Ages 13 to 14: Swim 200 yards, Bike 4.5 miles, Run 1.25 miles.
- Ages 11 to 12: Swim 150 yards, Bike 4 miles, Run 1 mile.
- Ages 9 to 10: Swim 100 yards, Bike 2.6 miles, Run 0.75 mile.
- Ages 7 to 8: Swim 50 yards, Bike 2 miles, Run 0.5 mile.
- Ages 4 to 6: Swim 25 yards, Bike 0.88 miles, Run 0.25 mile.
Registration fees before July 5, 2026 are $30 per participant with additional siblings $20 each; fees increase to $35 after July 5. Registration includes a t-shirt, a finisher medal for all participants, a goodie bag, and post race refreshments. Awards are given to the top three girls and boys in each age group.
