Troutman Gobbler Run 5K
The Troutman Gobbler Run 5K is a first annual community running event held on Thanksgiving Day in Troutman, North Carolina, presented and sponsored by the Troutman Ruritan Club. The event features a 5K running and walking course through the town near 338 North Ave.
Registration opens 5/1/2026 and closes 11/26/2026. The published registration fee is $35.00 and same-day registration will be available. Organizers will determine age categories after registration begins based on participation numbers.
Proceeds from the event are directed to local initiatives including scholarships, community service projects, family assistance, domestic violence support, and elderly assistance. The event provides participant items and recognition: a turkey finisher medal, a race shirt with a turkey design, and a swag bag with treats and snacks.
Awards will be given to the overall top three male and female finishers and to first through third place in each age category for male and female divisions.
