Troutman Gobbler Run 5K
The Troutman Gobbler Run 5K is a community running and walking event held on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, at 338 North Ave, Troutman, North Carolina. This is the first annual edition, presented and sponsored by the Troutman Ruritan Club. The event offers a single 5K distance and is open to runners and walkers of all ages.
Proceeds from the event are directed to local Troutman initiatives, including student scholarships, community service projects, family assistance, domestic violence support, elderly assistance, and school technology fees for students. Registration opens May 1, 2026 and closes November 26, 2026; the listed registration fee is $35.00 and same-day registration will be available.
Finishers receive a turkey finisher medal, an event shirt, and a swag bag with treats and snacks. Awards include overall top three male and female finishers and first through third place medals in each age category for both males and females.
