The Troutman Gobbler Run 5K is a community running and walking event held on Thanksgiving Day, 11/26/2026, at 338 North Ave, Troutman, North Carolina. This is the first annual edition, presented and sponsored by the Troutman Ruritan Club. The event offers a 5K distance with a registration fee of $35.00 and same-day registration available; T-shirt cutoff is 10/31.
Proceeds support Iredell County community initiatives, including unpaid school technology fees for Iredell Statesville students experiencing financial hardship, student scholarships, community service projects, family assistance, domestic violence support, and elderly assistance. Non-perishable food donations will be collected for the Troutman pantry.
Participant items include a turkey finisher medal, a race shirt, and a swag bag with treats. Awards are given to the overall top three male and female finishers and to first through third place in each age category for male and female divisions. Age categories will be determined after registration begins based on the number of participants.
