Trout Days Run/Walk
The Trout Days Run/Walk is an annual community athletic event organized by Cross Plains Parks and Rec. The event takes place in Cross Plains, Wisconsin, with the start and finish lines located at the Cross Plains-Berry Fire Station on Bourbon Road. Participants can choose from several event distances and formats:
- 5K running race
- 1 Mile run
- 1 Mile walk
- Troutlet Trot children's race (approximately 1/4 mile)
The 5K and 1 Mile events utilize wave starts and include official timing. Runners and walkers in these categories receive medals upon crossing the finish line. Registration includes a celebratory t-shirt, though these are only guaranteed for participants who register by April 15.
Participants have the opportunity to collect their race packets on the evening prior to the event at the fire station. All proceeds from the registration fees are directed toward local park safety projects. The course on May 2nd accommodates both competitive runners and those preferring a walking pace.
