Event details
The TROSA Turkey Trot is a 5K race held on November 27, 2025, in Durham, North Carolina. The race is the fifth annual running of the event. The course starts and finishes on TROSA's campus at 1820 James Street and follows a rolling route around the campus and the Lakewood neighborhoods. Race entries include a long-sleeve race shirt, a finishers medal, chip-timed results, and post-race refreshments. Cash prizes are offered: 1st place men and women $150, 2nd place men and women $100, 3rd place men and women $75, and 1st place Masters men and women $100. The event is presented by Bull City Running Co.
Logistics and support
Pre-packet pick-up is scheduled for Wednesday, November 26, 2025, from 2:30pm to 5:30pm at Bull City Running Co. - Downtown (501 Washington Street, Suite D, Durham). Race day packet pick-up is scheduled at TROSA (1820 James Street). Parking is provided at the M&F Corporate Center (2634 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd #101) with two shuttles running between that lot and the TROSA campus. The walking distance from the parking lot to TROSA's campus is about 0.5 mile. TROSA is a multi-year residential program that provides treatment, vocational training, education, and continuing care at no cost to those it serves.
