TROSA Turkey Trot 5K

The TROSA Turkey Trot 5K takes place on November 26, 2026 in Durham, North Carolina, with the course starting and finishing on TROSA's campus. The event follows a rolling 5K route around the campus and the Lakewood neighborhoods.

Distance offered: 5K (3.1 miles).

Participants receive a race shirt as available when picking up their bibs. All race finishers receive a medal, chip timed race results, and refreshments. Cash prizes are awarded to overall placings: 1st place men and women $150, 2nd place men and women $100, 3rd place men and women $75, and 1st place Masters men and women $100.

Registration opens August 17, 2026 and closes October 15, 2026. The listed registration fee is $35. The event is organized by TROSA, a multi year residential program that provides treatment, experiential vocational training, education, and continuing care for people with substance use disorders at no cost to program participants.
