Troop "A" Blue & Gold Trail Run
The 18th annual Troop "A" Blue & Gold Trail Run is an athletic event held at Parvin State Park in Elmer, New Jersey. The race is open to the public and takes place on a trail course within the park grounds. Participants can choose between running and walking for the scheduled distance.

The event includes various New Jersey State Police units in attendance for public viewing. These include the Mounted Unit, Canine Unit, and Tactical Patrol Unit. An Aviation Unit flyover and bagpipe music are also part of the day's activities. On-site entertainment and services include music, snacks, the KONA ICE Truck, and a supplement display.
Awards are presented to overall winners and top finishers in ten-year age categories based on gender. Specific awards are also designated for the Top State Police Team and the Top Local Law Enforcement Team. Pre-registered participants who sign up by April 21st are guaranteed a long-sleeve tech-shirt. Registration and packet pick-up are located at the Parvin State Park beach entrance.
Proceeds from the registration fees support the Alpha Corps Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides college scholarships and economic relief for troopers and their families during terminal illness or tragic events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
