Event overview
The Trojan Trot 5K Walk / Run takes place on February 28, 2026 at Zoo Miami, 12400 SW 152nd St., Miami, FL 33177. The event format includes:

- Peewee Trojan Trot (ages 3-9)

- Spectator (NO Zoo Entry)
The 5K is professionally timed and described as a scenic course for runners and walkers. A Finish Line Zone will feature music, food, inflatables, and local vendors. Full-day access to Zoo Miami is included for applicable registrations; the zoo is described as 750 acres with about 4 miles of walkways and over 2,000 animals. Ages 2 and under are free and strollers are welcome.
Registration, packet and rules
Current entry fees listed are $40 for the 5K, $35 for the Peewee Troop, $25 for Spectator + Zoo Entry, and $15 for Spectator (NO Zoo Entry). Prices increase after specified dates: the 5K and Peewee fees increase after January 15, 2026; spectator fees increase after February 27, 2026. Registering by January 15, 2026 guarantees a race shirt and finisher medal. Race packets for registered participants include a swag-filled packet, race bib, official race shirt, custom finisher medal, and full-day admission to Zoo Miami. Strollers must line up at the back of the race. Scooters, bikes, skateboards, and dogs are not allowed on the Zoo Miami course.
