Trail Race Series in Park City
The Triple Trail Challenge is a mountain running series consisting of three distinct events held in Park City, Utah. Participants can enter individual races or commit to the full series throughout the summer season. Each event is held in person and capped at 400 participants.
The series features the following distances and courses:
- 7K: A shorter option held in Round Valley on single and double track trails.
- 13.1 Miles: A half marathon on the high-desert terrain of Round Valley at 6,500 to 7,100 feet.
- 25K: A loop from Park City Mountain Resort to the summit of Jupiter Peak at 10,000 feet.
- 50K: A course following the Mid Mountain Trail, ending with a descent through Utah Olympic Park.
The 13.1 Miles and 7K courses in Round Valley consist of buff single and double track trails. The terrain includes steady climbs and fast downhills. For the 25K, the route covers approximately 16 miles with an elevation profile that rises from 7,000 feet to the peak before returning down. The 50K begins at Deer Valley and follows the Mid Mountain Trail for nearly 20 miles.
