Event overview
The Triple Dog Dare takes place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Stragent Dog Park, 121 Summers Dr., Longview, TX 75604. The event offers multiple distance options: 15K, 10K, 5K, 1 Mile, a Kid's Dash, and a Virtual Option. The Kid's Dash is a short 100 to 200 meter sprint and is free to enter. The 1 Mile option is untimed and has no age group awards. The 10K is run as two laps of the course and the 15K as three laps.
Registration, fees and items included
Published entry fees are: Kid's Dash $0, 15K $45, 10K $38, 5K $30, 1 Mile $15, Virtual $40. Registration deadlines and price increase dates are listed by the organizer. Registration includes an event-themed participation t-shirt (for 5K, 10K, 15K and 1 Mile), a custom finisher medal (for 5K, 10K, 15K and 1 Mile), and eligibility for age group awards where applicable. T-shirt size guarantee requires registration by July 18.
Awards, volunteer and virtual options
Age group awards are given four deep in male and female divisions from 0-4 up to 80+. Overall and masters categories (including male/female masters 40+ and grand masters 60+) receive overall medals. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped. A virtual race option is available; the organizer will ship the shirt and medal the week of the race for virtual participants.
