Triple Dog Dare : Longview, TX
The Triple Dog Dare takes place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Stragent Dog Park, 121 Summers Dr., Longview, TX 75604. The event offers multiple race distances on a course where the 10K is two laps and the 15K is three laps of the 5K route. Awards are given by age group and overall in several categories. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped.

Registration, shirts and awards
Registration for the Kid's Dash and the Virtual Option closes on August 15, 2026. The 15K, 10K, 5K and 1 Mile events have a price increase after March 31, 2026. Register by July 18 to guarantee t-shirt size. Registration for the 5K, 10K, 15K and 1 Mile includes an event-themed participation shirt and a custom finisher medal; age-group eligibility applies to the 5K, 10K and 15K only. Age groups are awarded four deep in male and female divisions from 0-4 up to 80+. Overall, masters (40+), and grand masters (60+) also receive overall medals.
Other options and charity
The Kid's Dash is a short 100–200 meter sprint; dashers run free but may purchase shirt or medal as add-ons. The 1 Mile is untimed and has no age-group awards. The Virtual Option includes shipment of shirt and medal the week of the race. Volunteers receive a code for a free race after completing a race-day task. Ten percent of event profits and 100% of donations designated go to Encounter Church (Fate). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
