Trio Rio Triathlon
Trio Rio Triathlon takes place on May 30 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, presented by the City of Albuquerque Parks & Recreation Department. The event is held at the Rio Grande Outdoor Pool and follows a reverse triathlon format with the sequence run, bike, swim.
The event offers both an individual sprint triathlon and a relay option for teams of two or three people. The course distances are:
- 5K Run
- 16.2K Bike
- 225m Swim
Participants receive a technical race shirt and an official swim cap. Results are professionally chip timed, and the race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon (USAT). The organizer describes the course and event operations as safe and well organized.
