Trimpell 20 & Mother's Day 10k
The event takes place on Sunday, 15th March 2026 at the 3-1-5 Health Club in Lancaster (LA1 3PE). It offers two race distances: a 20-mile race and a 10k run.
- Trimpell 20 Mile: The organizers describe it as a friendly race put on by dedicated runners. It is positioned as an ideal preparation run for a marathon. All finishers receive a medal and a t-shirt.
- Mother's Day 10k: All finishers in this event receive a special edition t-shirt and a medal.
For both races, prizes are awarded to the first three male and first three female athletes. Additional veteran prizes are given, dependent on entry numbers.
Entry fees vary. For the Trimpell 20, online entry costs £36 for affiliated athletes, £38 for unaffiliated athletes, and £29 for Lancaster Runner's Club members. For the Mother's Day 10k, online fees are £23 (affiliated), £25 (unaffiliated), and £21 (Lancaster Runner's Club). On-the-day entry is also available for cash only.
The event has a UK Athletics licence. Separate course maps are available for the 20-mile and 10k routes. The organizers have a policy of no refunds, swaps, or deferrals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
