"Burn off the Turkey" Trifarm Winter 10k trail run
This event takes place on 27 Dec 2026 and is the final race in a four-round seasonal trail run series. The course is a 10k with more than 95% off road on public footpaths and bridleways. The TRA permit number is 6807 (TBC).
The start and finish are at the far end of the Trifarm car-park. The winter route runs predominately clockwise and is routed away from the river to avoid floods. There are no water stations or marshals on course; a tail jogger will sweep the route and a finish line timer will be used.
Venue facilities include plenty of parking on site and registration held in or near the car-park. Bottled water is available at registration and a tap by the bicycle racks can be used to top up bottles before the run and at the finish. Race numbers must be worn on the front, unfolded; manual timing may be used so a visible number is required to record a finish time.
Pre-run swim and post-run sauna are available by booking through the Trifarm website. Food is available on site including bacon rolls, tea, coffee and cakes.
Entry details: total places 50. Early price until 01 Jul 2026 is £11.00 and a later price until 19 Dec 2026 09:59 is £12.50. A service fee of 4% (minimum 50p) applies to each sign-up.
Results and prizes will be posted online; additional prizes are awarded for the fastest male and female athletes at the end of round 4 and points follow a MotoGP system. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
