Trick or Trot (Boise)
Trick or Trot is a family-oriented walk and run held along the Boise greenbelt and at Municipal Park (500 S Walnut St, Boise, ID 83712). The event includes in-person and virtual options and offers short distances suitable for children and adults.
Distances included:
- Trick or Trot 5K - 3.1 Miles
- Trick or Trot 1K - 0.6 Miles
- Virtual Event 5K - 3.1 Miles
- Virtual Event 1K - 0.6 Miles
In-person registration opens July 12, 2026; virtual registration opens August 16, 2026. Registration closes October 25, 2026. For in-person entries, fees vary by age: children 6 and under are free, ages 7 to 12 are $12, and ages 13 and up are $25. Virtual event entries carry a $25 fee.
The 1K route includes trick-or-treating for children. The walk and run are hosted by Iras Temple No. 40, Daughters of the Nile. Proceeds benefit Shriners Children through the Daughters of the Nile Foundation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
