Trick or Trot 5K : Birmingham
The Trick or Trot 5K is Kid One Transport’s 13th annual costume run held in Birmingham, Alabama. The event is organized at Back Forty Birmingham, 3201 1st Avenue North, and traditionally follows streets in the Lakeview District of downtown Birmingham. It offers both in-person and virtual participation; if the in-person race cannot be held as planned, registrations convert to virtual participation.
The event includes a 5K run, a costume contest conducted via social media, and a participant t-shirt. Packet pick-up is scheduled at Back Forty Birmingham on October 23 from 11 am until 6 pm. Registrants who register by September 28 are guaranteed a specific shirt size.
Awards recognize competitive and spirited participation. Competitive awards honor the top three male and female finishers overall, the top male and female masters, and the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Additional awards include Biggest Team (Community and Corporate), Most Spirited Team, Most Spirited Individual, Most Spirited Kid, and Most Spirited Pet and Owner. Strollers and pets are welcome.
