Trick or Trail Night Run - Kamloops, BC
Trick or Trail Night Run is a night trail event organized by Sole Pursuit Running on the trails of Kenna Cartwright in Kamloops, BC. There are two distance options:
- 15 km
- 5 km (now a 6 km)
The event takes place after dusk on unlit trails; all runners must wear a headlamp or carry a flashlight at all times. Volunteers stationed on at least one trail will intentionally create jump scares using loud noises, spooky sounds, and costumes; no one will touch participants. Course maps and updated course information are posted on the organizer's website.
Registration closes Thu, Oct 22 at 11:59 PM PT. Once registered, no refunds are provided. Deferrals may be considered at the Race Director's discretion up to two months before race day. Bibs are non-transferable. Runners may drop to a shorter distance at no cost until registration closes; moving up in distance is not permitted after registration. If the event is cancelled for reasons such as weather or fires, participants will be offered either a deferral to the following year (valid one year) or a 50% refund of the registration cost minus processing fees.
The organizer is seeking about 12 to 15 volunteers to serve as course marshals, candy station helpers, sweeps, and other roles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
