About the race
Trick or Trail Night Run is a night trail event in Kamloops, BC, organized by Sole Pursuit Running and scheduled for October 24, 2026. The event uses trails in the Kenna Cartwright area and offers two distance options.

The course is unlit after dark; all runners must wear a headlamp or carry a flashlight at all times. Volunteers placed on course will intentionally create jump scares with loud noises, spooky sounds, and costumes; volunteers will not touch participants. Updated course maps and course information are available from the organizer.
Key entry and policy details: registration is nonrefundable. Deferrals may be considered under special circumstances at the race director's discretion, up to two months before race day. Once a distance is full, no additional spots will be added. Race bibs are nontransferable. Runners may drop down in distance at no cost until registration closes; moving up in distance is not permitted once registered. If the event is cancelled for weather, fires, or other unforeseen circumstances, participants may accept a deferral to the following year (valid for one year) or a 50 percent refund of the registration cost less processing fees.
Organizers seek about 12 to 15 volunteers to serve as course marshals, candy station helpers, sweeps, and other roles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
