About the race
Trick or Trail Night Run is a night trail event in Kamloops, BC, organized by Sole Pursuit Running and scheduled for October 24, 2026. The event developed from a group run in 2025 and is described as a night trail experience on the Kenna Cartwright trails.

Runners follow marked trails at night on unlit terrain. All participants must wear a headlamp or carry a flashlight at all times for safety. Course maps and updated course information are provided by the organizer.
The event includes planned scare stations on one of the trails. Volunteers in costumes will create loud noises and spooky effects but will not touch participants. The organizer seeks about 12 to 15 volunteers for roles such as course marshals, candy station helpers, and sweeps.
Registration and entry conditions include no refunds after registration, bibs that are non transferable, and the option to drop down in distance at no cost until registration closes. Deferrals may be considered by the Race Director up to two months before the event. If the event is cancelled for reasons such as weather or safety, participants may accept a one year deferral or a 50 percent refund of the registration cost less processing fees.
