Trick or Trail 5K & 1 Mile - Hendersonville
Trick or Trail 5k & 1 Mile is a Halloween-themed running event presented by Aetna, held in Hendersonville on October 24, 2026. The event starts and finishes in the city’s Historic 7th Avenue District and includes a Fall Festival at the Hendersonville Farmers’ Market after the races.

Race entries include a commemorative finisher medal for all participants, an event shirt if registered before September 27, a goody bag, complimentary non-alcoholic apple cider from Bold Rock Mills River, chip timing for the 5k, and race photos. There is also a virtual 5k option for those not participating in person. Discounted 5k pricing applies for participants age 12 and under through October 11, with the child price increasing October 12.
The event features a costume contest with multiple award categories and prizes for winners; results are announced at an awards ceremony.
