Triathlon Pink : Melbourne
Triathlon Pink returns to Albert Park on 17 January 2027 (TBC) as the southernmost stop of the 2026/2027 season. The event uses a pool swim and a closed-road bike course. The format includes multiple triathlon distances and fun runs, and it offers separate races for children.
Most participants are new to triathlon. The event aims to provide a relaxed and supportive atmosphere and includes activities aimed at families and supporters.
Distances and minimum ages:
- Ultra: 600 m swim / 18 km bike / 7.5 km run. Minimum age 15.
- Long: 300 m swim / 9 km bike / 5 km run. Minimum age 13.
- Medium: 200 m swim / 6 km bike / 2.5 km run. Minimum age 12.
- Short: 100 m swim / 3 km bike / 1.3 km run. Minimum age 10.
- Kids 10 to 13: 100 m swim / 3 km bike / 1.3 km run. Minimum age 10.
- Kids 7 to 9: 50 m swim / 2 km bike / 500 m run. Minimum age 7.
Fun run options include 10 km, 5 km, 2.5 km and 1.3 km distances. The 1.3 km fun run has no minimum age but children under five must be accompanied by an adult.
For more than 17 years the community component of Triathlon Pink has helped raise over $2.6 million for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Fundraising is optional and incentives from NBCF are available for certain milestones. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
