Canberra triathlon event
The Canberra event takes place at Stromlo Forest Park and Leisure Centre on 15 March 2026. It is the finale of the Ramsay Health Care Triathlon Pink 2025/2026 season. The event uses a pool swim and a closed road bike course, and offers a range of distances for first-time triathletes and returning participants who want to try a different distance.
Distances and categories
- Ultra: 600 m swim / 19 km bike / 7.5 km run. Minimum age 15 years.
- Long: 300 m swim / 9.6 km bike / 5 km run. Minimum age 13 years.
- Medium: 200 m swim / 6.4 km bike / 2.5 km run. Minimum age 12 years.
- Short: 100 m swim / 3.2 km bike / 1 km run. Minimum age 10 years.
- Kids 10-13: 100 m swim / 3.2 km bike / 1 km run. Minimum age 10-13 years.
- Kids 7-9: 50 m swim / 2 km bike / 500 m run. Minimum age 7-9 years.
- 10 km Fun Run: 10 km run. Minimum age 12 years.
- 5 km Fun Run: 5 km run. Minimum age 11 years.
- 2.5 km Fun Run: 2.5 km run. Minimum age 7 years.
- 1 km Fun Run: 1 km run. No minimum age; under 5 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Fundraising and partners
The event supports the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The NBCF offers incentives for reaching fundraising targets, and participants can set up a fundraising page during registration.
