Triathlon Hawke's Bay Winter Duathlon Race 3
Triathlon Hawke's Bay Winter Duathlon Race 3 is the TRIHB Interclub Duathlon Challenge held at Haumoana School on 26 July 2026 in Hastings, Raymond Road. The event is a team relay with three athletes per team competing in a run, a cycle and a final run to earn points for their club toward the Interclub Challenge Trophy.
Each team consists of:
- 4 km run for the first leg
- 21 km cycle, time trial bikes allowed, for the second leg
- 4 km run for the final leg
The challenge is aimed at local clubs and groups including running clubs, cycling clubs, triathlon and multisport clubs, schools, workplaces and informal groups. Teams may register as a full team of three, as a partial team to be matched with others, or as an individual to be placed into a team. Mixed-club teams are permitted.
The race is part of a five-race Winter Duathlon Series at Haumoana that includes a Duathlon Dash for younger participants aged 7 and above, short, middle and long course duathlons, team events and an individual bike time trial. Organisers provide traffic management for safety. Bikes must have a working rear light for the cycling section. The event is organised by Triathlon Hawke's Bay.
