Triathlon Gatineau
The 34th edition of Triathlon Gatineau takes place at Parc du Lac-Leamy. This non-profit sporting event supports youth development for athletes aged 7 to 17 through the Club Espoir Triathlon Gatineau. The event has been recognized for its commitment to sustainability, winning a Prix Vivat for eco-responsibility.
The program includes various multisport formats and running distances to accommodate different types of participants:
- Olympic, Sprint, and Super Sprint/Initiation
- Duathlon and Aquathlon
- Team Triathlons
- Youth events for ages 6 to 15
- Running races of 1 km, 5 km, and 10 km
The event hosts several high-level competitions, including the U13/U15 Quebec Youth Cup (Quebec Championship), the Junior Quebec Cup, and the Grand Prix Sprint.
