Triathlon de Verdun Desjardins - 29th edition
The Triathlon de Verdun Desjardins takes place on Sunday August 9 2026 at the Natatorium of Verdun, 6500 boulevard LaSalle. It is an urban, family oriented event offering pool and open water races, youth categories, and introductory formats.
The 2026 program includes a sprint Duathlon that is part of the Quebec Cup and awards a qualifying spot for the 2027 age group world championships. The event is listed among Triathlon Quebec discovery activities. About 100 volunteers support the races and several institutional partners are involved, including Desjardins, the Government of Quebec, the City of Montreal Verdun borough, and Tourisme Montréal.

- Olympic triathlon: 1500 m swim / 38 km bike / 10 km run

Practical information: the athlete guide 2026 contains official details. Athlete check in is mandatory before entering the transition area and includes bib, swim cap, stickers and timing chip. The chip must be worn on the left ankle and returned after the race. Transition access requires bike and helmet identification and is limited to registered athletes and authorized persons per category. Parking near the site is limited and alternate access via boulevard Champlain and the Douglas hospital grounds is recommended.
