Défi Gérard-Côté
The Défi Gérard-Côté is presented by the Club athlétique de Saint-Hyacinthe and will take place on Sunday May 9, 2027 at Polyvalente Hyacinthe Delorme, 2700 avenue T. D. Bouchard, Saint Hyacinthe. The 31st edition commemorates marathoner Gérard Côté.
The event includes five running distances and walking options. The 5 km, 10 km and 15 km races are certified by Athletics Canada and the event holds a Gold sanction from the Quebec Athletics Federation. Timing is individual with a chip-equipped bib, and courses are marked every kilometre. Water points provide water only; gel energy packs are available for 10 km and 15 km participants. All finishers receive a participation medal.

Online registration is open until May 2, 2027. Remaining bibs may be available in person on May 6, 7 and 8 at Sports Experts in Saint Hyacinthe, subject to availability and without reservation. Bib pickup is available at Sports Experts on the published dates and on site on the event day. The event provides bag drop service, first aid and security, and free online race photos.
