La Grande Virée des Sentiers du Mont‑Saint‑Bruno presented by IGA Marchés Lambert takes place at Parc national du Mont‑Saint‑Bruno in Saint‑Bruno‑de‑Montarville. The race is organized by the Club de course Mont‑St‑Bruno and marks its 21st edition.
Routes run on woodland trails, alongside lakes and without automobile traffic. The event offers these distances:
- 1 km reserved for children (categories 4–5, 6–7, 8–9 years)
- 2 km mainly for adolescents (10–17 years) with an 18+ category
- 5 km, 10 km, 15 km categories for ages 14 and over
Trail lengths may vary by a few dozen metres compared with the advertised distances. Time limits apply to the 5 km, 10 km and 15 km events. Registrations are non refundable, but bib transfers to another person are allowed and distance changes may be possible if places remain; all transfers must be officialized.
Included for participants are park access, a personalized bib with electronic timing chip and start mat, on course aid stations, a post race snack (fruits, yogurt, chocolate milk, juice, muffin), on site entertainment, a participation medal and a technical shirt. Registered participants receive an email a few weeks before the event with bib collection details and the day schedule.
