Trial Run 5K : Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania
The Trial Run 5K is an annual fundraising run/walk to benefit Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 25 at Wilson Farm Park in Wayne (GPS may show Chesterbrook). The course is paved and consists of two laps around the park.
The event is organized in collaboration with the Chester County Bar Association Pro Bono Committee and welcomes participants of all ages. The program includes awards for the top men’s and women’s finishers, a best costume prize, and a traveling team trophy for the firm with the most race-day participants. Halloween costumes are encouraged.
Registration fees are listed on the event page and the entry includes a race t-shirt while supplies last. The Trial Run has raised funds for civil legal aid since 2005; proceeds support services including housing, family law, domestic violence, consumer law and debt, record-clearing, veterans issues, elder law, and public benefits.
Sponsorship opportunities are offered at multiple levels, from Event Sponsor to Patron, with varying recognition and race entries associated with each level. The event is held rain or shine. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
