Trial Run 5K - Oct. 25, 2026
The 21st annual Trial Run 5K is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026, at Wilson Farm Park, 500 Lee Road, Wayne, PA (GPS may say Chesterbrook). The course is paved and consists of two laps. The event welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and is organized in collaboration with the Chester County Bar Association Pro Bono Committee.
The event raises funds for Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Proceeds support free civil legal services in areas such as housing, family law, domestic violence, consumer law and debt, record-clearing, veterans issues, elder law and public benefits. Since 2005 the Trial Run has raised approximately $290,000 for legal aid.
Registration fees are listed as $20 before Oct. 25 and $25 on race day; a race t-shirt is included while supplies last. Participants may run or walk, and Halloween costumes are encouraged. Awards are planned for top men's and women's finishers, best costume, and a Team Competition Trophy. Sponsorship opportunities are available at multiple levels, including Event, Gold, Silver, Bronze, Friend of Legal Aid and Patron, each with specified recognition and race entries.
