Tri WashU 2026
Tri WashU 2026 is the ninth annual indoor triathlon held on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at the Gary M. Sumers Recreation Center in Saint Louis. The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon and offers both collegiate and age group divisions. Top male and female collegiate finishers will be presented with bobblehead awards.
The race uses defined pool, bike and run segments with these distances:
- 750 yard pool swim
- 12.4 mile bike in the spin room on stationary bikes
- 5k run on the outdoor track
Biking is conducted on stationary spin bikes in an indoor spin room. Athletes may clip into the spin bikes using SPD mountain bike clips; SPD-SL clips are not compatible with the spin bikes used for this event.
For collegiate competitors, Tri WashU serves as a qualifying race for the USAT Collegiate Club National Championships and contributes to Midwest Collegiate Triathlon Conference standings. The event lists separate entry categories for Collegiate and Age Group and for WashU Student participants, with different entry pricing noted for each category.
