Tri the Parks - Lake Lanier Rowing Park Sprint
Tri the Parks at Lake Lanier Rowing Park in Gainesville, GA is a sprint distance multisport event held on June 6, 2026. The event includes triathlon, duathlon and aquabike options, plus relay versions of each discipline. The field is limited to 450 athletes and T shirts are not guaranteed for entries after May 23.
Distances for the core formats are:

Swim details note a 600 m time trial start with athletes lining up by race number and starting every five seconds. Swim caps are provided in race packets and must be worn; cap color identifies swim start position. Wetsuit legality is based on the race day water temperature and is permitted when the water temperature is below 78 degrees.
The bike course is 14.7 miles on open roads with directional signs, mile markers every two miles, and staffed turns; athletes are responsible for knowing the course. Transition bike racks correspond to assigned race numbers. All athletes receive body marking with race number and age.
Parking is first come, first served with attendants directing vehicles, overflow across the road, and a tunnel for safe crossing to transition. Course maps and event information are included in race packets. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
