Trent Valley Ultra
The Trent Valley Ultra is a 50k ultra marathon held in Nottinghamshire that runs through villages and a mix of footpaths, bridleways, tracks and minor roads. The course uses local lanes and rights of way and includes checkpoints positioned approximately every 6 to 8 miles.
The event starts and finishes at Milestone Brewery & Tap in Cromwell. There is ample car parking located near the start line. The field is limited to 220 runners, with a 10 hour cut-off and no entries on the day. The minimum age for entry is 18. Dogs are welcome at the brewery but the route distance makes running with dogs impractical.
Finishers receive a commemorative branded event pint glass and there is an option to buy additional glasses on entry. Post-race provisions include a selection of food vendors, access to the Milestone tap room and on-site entertainment. Route details and a GPX file are available. Full results will be published on the event website. An adjacent caravan site at Milestone provides a nearby overnight option for participants and supporters.
