Trek the Creek 5K - Francis Creek, WI
Trek the Creek 5K is an annual memorial run and walk organized by the Francis Creek Lion's Club on September 12, 2026. The event takes place at Pla-Mor Park in Francis Creek, Wisconsin, and prominently features the Devil's River State Recreational Trail. The 5K course is USATF certified. Proceeds benefit local groups including Francis Creek First Responders, the Francis Creek Fire Department, Pink Heals, the OH Schultz Elementary Backpack program, and diabetes and eyesight awareness initiatives. Kids are welcome.
The Lions Club is combining Trek the Creek and Crick Crossing into a single event to continue the race as an annual community activity. Race categories include age divisions for participants 13 and up and for participants 12 and under, with corresponding virtual categories available. Virtual entries may be completed at a time and place chosen by the participant. Virtual participants are not eligible for medals, but a race packet including a t-shirt will be shipped to them.
