Treasure Valley Triathlon
Treasure Valley Triathlon is a circuit style triathlon held on a closed course along the river at Esther Simplot Park in Boise, Idaho. The event is USAT sanctioned (#310140) and includes Idaho high school state and age group finals as well as the USAT Club championship. The race supports adaptive sports across southern Idaho and welcomes spectators.
The program offers multiple formats, including individual Super Sprint, Sprint and Olympic distances, relay entries for teams of two to three people, adaptive divisions and a youth Splash and Dash during packet pickup. Adaptive athletes are listed as racing free. Registration is limited to 450 participants.
Distances for the main formats are:
- Super Sprint: 400 m swim, 9.6 km bike, 2.7 km run
- Sprint: 750 m swim, 18.9 km bike, 5.2 km run
- Olympic: 1500 m swim, 37.6 km bike, 10 km run
- Youth Splash and Dash (ages 7-10): 100 m swim, 1 km run
- Youth Splash and Dash (ages 11-15): 200 m swim, 2 km run
