TreadRoom Sprint

The TreadRoom Sprint is an indoor, bracket style sprint tournament held at Run Unlimited in St. Petersburg, Florida on July 31, 2026. Races take place on premium Woodway treadmills in a head to head format. Each matchup lasts 3 minutes and the runner who covers the greater distance in that time is the winner. Winners advance through the bracket until a final round determines the top competitor.

The event begins with a group stage organized as a round robin. From the group stage, the top two athletes in each group move on to single elimination rounds. The concluding round features four athletes in one final race.

General rules state that every run starts with the treadmill set to speed 0 and a 1% incline. Announcements are given at three minutes, two minutes, and one minute before the start of each round. Runners must be at the start line one minute before the start to avoid a DNS. There is a ten second countdown immediately before each race begins.
