The Trawsfynydd Lake Race is a multi-terrain running event around Trawsfynydd Lake in Eryri / Snowdonia National Park on 19th April 2026. The main route is a mixed tarmac and trail course of 8.6 miles with about 175 m of ascent and includes one challenging hill. The event is organised under Welsh Athletics / UK Athletics rules. All proceeds support the South Snowdonia Search and Rescue Team, a volunteer charity reliant on public donations.

The race is open to athletes aged 17 and over and has a maximum of 400 runners. Early bird fees until 22nd April 2025 are £20 (UKA affiliated) and £22 (non-affiliated); later fees are £24 (UKA affiliated) and £26 (non-affiliated). The event is chip timed, fully marshalled and will provide water stations. Race numbers and timing chips are collected on the day. The start location is by the Magnox Power Station Car Park (grid reference SH69052 37960, postcode LL41 4DT). A commemorative coaster is provided to participants.
