Golden Ultra
The Golden Ultra is a three-day trail running event held in Golden, British Columbia, Canada. The races take place from September 11 to 13, 2026.
The event features two stage race formats, the Half Pint and the Full Pint, as well as individual single-day distances. Participants can choose between the stage races or register for individual events. The capacity is capped at 700 runners.
Available distances:
- Friday, September 11: 5K (Gondy Climb), 3K (Catamount Climb)
- Saturday, September 12: 60K, 30K
- Sunday, September 13: 16K, 11K
The courses are professionally mapped and marked on a mix of single track, double track, gravel, and dirt trails. They are located in and around the town of Golden and at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort.
For participants in the Saturday 60 km and 30 km ultras, a drop bag service is available at specific checkpoints. A "ChillVille" lounge with refreshments is provided at the finish line. Evening meals on Friday and Saturday are included for stage race participants, with extra tickets available for others.
The event includes a professional medical team, over 100 volunteers, official timing, and daily podium awards. A soft blend T-shirt and a customized pint glass are included for all registered participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
