TransRockies Golden Ultra : Golden, British Columbia
The Golden Ultra is a multi-day trail running event near the town of Golden, British Columbia. It uses singletrack, double track, gravel, and dirt trails that cross the Rocky Mountains and run along the Columbia River. The event takes place in September and is offered as a three-day stage race or as single-day ultra options. Courses are professionally mapped and marked.
Race formats, distances, services, and awards
Participants can enter either the stage race or single-day races. Stage race options are the Full Pint or the Half Pint. Single-day distance options include:
- 60 km
- 30 km
- 16 km
- 11 km
Registration packages include a soft blend T-shirt, a customized pint glass, sponsor swag, fully stocked aid stations, and official timing and results. Drop bags are allowed for the 60 km and 30 km on Saturday; drop bags must be marked and are available at check points 1 and 4. Check point 2 is remote and check point 3 is accessed by gondola. The event provides Friday and Saturday evening meals for Full and Half Pint participants, nightly race meetings, a professional medical team, daily podium awards, and age-category awards for Open (16-49), 50+, and Non-Binary divisions.
