Event overview
The Golden Ultra is a three-day trail running event in Golden, British Columbia, held September 11-13, 2026. The event uses trails in and around the Town of Golden and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, with a mix of singletrack, double track, gravel, and dirt trails. The event includes two stage-race options and multiple single-day distances. Event capacity is 700 runners and registration was reported as 80% sold out for 2026.

Race services and policies
Race services include professionally mapped and marked courses, a soft blend T-shirt, a customized pint glass, sponsor giveaways, and fully stocked aid stations with nutrition, electrolytes, water, and food. Drop bag access is provided for the 60 km and 30 km races at checkpoints #1 and #4; checkpoint #3 is accessed by gondola. Friday and Saturday evening meals are included for Full and Half Pint participants. Daily podium awards, a professional medical team, over 100 crew/volunteers, and official timing by Zone 4 are provided.
The organizer's stated policies include no refunds under any circumstances. Transfers may be permitted for an administrative fee and deferrals are allowed with specified refund percentages depending on the date.
