About the race
The Transfiguration Family Fun Run is a community running event held at Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta, GA (1815 Blackwell Rd NE). It offers short, out-and-back courses and is described as an opportunity for local families and parishioners to gather, promote health, and support one another.

Both courses are out-and-back routes with water stations at the turnaround points. Jogging strollers are permitted. Race day packet pick-up and registration take place in front of the church parking lot.
Proceeds from the event go to Transfiguration’s Family Assistance Fund, which provides short-term assistance to registered parish families facing unexpected financial challenges. Entry categories and typical fees listed by the organizer include adult and youth prices, and free entry for children ages five and under when accompanied by a registered parent or guardian. Awards are given to male and female overall finishers and to male and female first, second, and third in multiple age groups.
Parking is available in the church parking lot on Blackwell Road; volunteers and a uniformed police officer will assist with directions. Participants receive a premium quality T-shirt, a complimentary piece of fruit or breakfast bar, and a goodie bag with a water bottle and local coupons. The event proceeds rain or shine.
