TrailX Endurance and Fit Challenge
TrailX is an outdoor endurance event that combines trail running with functional fitness and obstacle-course elements. The venue is EightFold Farms on the banks of the Red River in Benton, Louisiana, at 1245 Old Plain Dealing Road, Benton, LA 71106. The format mixes trail-based mileage and fitness obstacles over a mapped course.
The event is organized into three main divisions plus a youth challenge:
- Mathilde Division: 4 Miles
- Cortés Division: 7.5 Miles
- Ragnar Division: 11 Miles
- Joan's March (Kids FIT Challenge): ~1–1.5 Miles
Confirmed obstacle examples include a rubber minefield (a field of tires), sandbag carries, bucket carries, farmers carries, low crawls, and sled-pull variations. Organizers will release additional obstacle details periodically as logistics are finalized.
Registration benefits and event items are described by the organizer. The first 100 registrants in the Mathilde and Cortés divisions will receive a bag with the TrailX logo; the first 50 registrants in the Ragnar division will receive a duffel bag. Event registration includes a completion medal, either a T-shirt or a water bottle, a ticket to redeem a to-be-determined item, and other sponsor-donated items that may appear in swag bags or raffles.
The Joan's March division is targeted at ages 8 to 13, is roughly 1 to 1.5 miles, and will not be timed. Parents are discouraged from assisting beyond motivational support; young participants are encouraged to use teamwork among themselves.
