You Yangs Trail Running Festival
The You Yangs Trail Running Festival takes place in You Yangs Regional Park at 10 Branch Road, Little River VIC, located between Melbourne and Geelong. The event routes run across granite peaks, native bushland and surrounding plains, with viewpoints over Port Phillip Bay, Geelong and Melbourne.
The courses combine flowing forest trails, open rocky mountain tracks, technical rocky sections and steep climbs to key viewpoints. Runners encounter a variety of terrain including fast wooded trails, open rocky trails, sustained climbs such as the ascent to Flinders Peak, and technical descents and undulating sections.
The festival runs across two event days and is part of the Trailsplus Mountain Series as the second event in the series. Multiple race distances are offered across the weekend, ranging from short trail runs to multi-day endurance events:

- 50 km
- 100 km
- 100 miles
Course maps and GPX files are provided for each distance. Trailsplus donates one dollar per participant to Canteen, the Australian organisation for young people living with cancer, and total donations from Trailsplus events have surpassed $90,000.
