Trails n Vines Wine Run
Trails n Vines Wine Run is the first annual winery run presented at Orfila Vineyards and Winery in Escondido, California. The primary loop is about three miles and runs through the vineyard, showing the winery's grape varieties as the course weaves across the property.
The event offers multiple race distances:
- 3 mile (one lap)
- 6 mile (two laps)
- 9 mile (three laps)
Runners over 21 receive three complimentary wine tastings and discounts on wine purchases at the finish area. Non-alcoholic options are available for children and for participants who do not drink. After the race, participants are allotted one hour for a private tasting at the finish area. An Amalfi food truck will serve ready-to-grab breakfast items in the food tent area.
The event is limited to 400 runners because of current parking restrictions. Finishers receive a finisher medal. Race shirts are offered for an additional cost. A kids dash is also included as a separate entry option. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
